Another apparent defect affecting the white iPhone 5 is
a small light leak from the LED backlight shining through a small crack in the
edge where the front panel fits into the aluminum casing. BGR confirmed the issue with one of its own iPhone 5s, though it
reported
that the flaw is only visible “under low-light or completely dark
situations.” The issue doesn’t appear to interfere with the operation of an
affected device, though Apple will reportedly replace any device showing this
problem.
